Explore Notre Dame island in an instructive and fun way !
Playgreen offers you an interactive way to discover Notre Dame island, “île de la Cité”, and learn a great deal about it. This tour will take you to the origins of Paris. Indeed, you will be in the very center, where the first Parisian people arrived 2000 years ago. Your group will explore the medieval district behind Notre Dame, and all Paris’ famous landmarks from the 19th century as well. You will definitely be taken into the spirit of Paris, a strong and resilient city, just like Notre-Dame is.
You will also enjoy a charming tour seeing Paris’ cosy cafés from la Place Dauphine or the Flowers and birds market. Plus, you will end your tour right nearby Saint-Louis island, Quais de Seine and Latin Quarter. These are the perfect spots to have a nice dinner with your loved ones after the activity !
What is the tour consisting in ?
This interactive walk is a cultural escape game. You’ll be given the mission, as a team, to crack a code made of letters. You’ll crack it by solving friendly riddles about the best spots of Paris’ historical center. The code is about the island and Paris. (Remember it as a hint.) All along the course a guide will be there to help you in anything. And at the end, if you succeed, you will win a nice gift !

Booking this activity also allows you to make a (free!) donation to our endowment fund, Playgreen for Environment – PFE, committed to the protection of our environment and to the research into SanFilippo childhood disease. Playgreen donates 10% of the price of your ticket to its NPO.
Practical info
- This activity is suitable for both business and private events. If you’re coming with your colleagues or a group of students, you’ll be able to challenge each other in a cheerful way, and try to win several prizes. - It’s possible to come and try the adventure as a family with teenagers, at a reduced rate for children up to 17.
- If you are coming with younger children, you can book the kid’s tour for the 7-10 yo.
- Night sessions are available for this activity.
- The central location of the escape game is very convenient (metro and RER Châtelet and St Michel Notre Dame).
