What is Playgreen?
Playgreen, formerly le Libre promeneur, offers leisure activities in Paris and Lyon, such as escape games / cultural treasure hunts, guided tours, and photo shoots for groups, families, schools or companies since 2019. We have more than 50,000 customers and thousands of 5-star reviews on numerous platforms. We take care to offer you only top quality activities, as evidenced by the Tripadvisor badge of excellence that we have retained every year since 2019. Playgreen donate a substantial 10% of its turnover to the Playgreen for Environment (PFE) endowment fund, which is committed to protecting the environment and fighting Sanfilippo syndrome, an incurable childhood disease.
Who are the activities available on the Playgreen website aimed at?
Our activities are designed for everyone: friends, couples, families with children aged 7 and over and/or teenagers, schoolchildren, businesses, tourists or locals looking for a cultural activity or outing.
We offer formats to suit every occasion, whether it’s a birthday (adult or child), an EVJF-G, team building, or just a fun, cultural or artistic outing.
Finally, children’s escape games are available from the age of 7 or 8, with an accompanying adult.
How do I book an activity for an individual or a professional?
Go to the ‘Book’ page, choose an activity, select a date and time slot, then proceed to payment to confirm the booking.
Large groups can also pay by bank transfer. Order forms are also accepted for most activities.
If you need a quote for a business event (team building, seminar, school outing, etc.) or a private event (birthday, family reunion, EVJF-G, etc.), or if you would like more information, go to the contact page or write to us at contact@playgreen-paris.com.
Can I cancel or change a booking?
Yes, you can reduce the number of participants or cancel your booking free of charge up to 1 week before the start date. To do so, send us an e-mail to contact@playgreen-paris.com. Your cancellation and refund will be processed within 24 hours.
If you wish to add more participants, you can do so by making a new booking up to 4 hours before the start of the activity.
When booking a team building or school outing, you will only be charged for the actual number of participants. You will find more information on the corporate page.
What languages are the activities available in?
All activities are available in French, English and bilingual FR/ANG. If you require a service in another language (Spanish, German, Italian, etc.), please contact us and we will do our best to offer you a suitable solution.
How long do Playgreen’s activities last?
The duration depends on the activity chosen. It is clearly indicated on the activity pages. Allow 2 hours for cultural escape games, including an explanation of the rules and a gift if you win.
Do you need to be particularly fit to take part?
No, Playgreen does not offer activities that require any particular physical effort. As far as the games are concerned, most of them take place on flat courses with no major physical difficulties. The escape game in Montmartre, on the other hand, takes you down the Butte: you won’t encounter any major physical difficulties on this route either. If you have special needs (reduced mobility, pushchair, etc.), contact us in advance so that we can advise you on the most suitable activity.
Can I offer an activity to a group without choosing the date?
Yes, by purchasing a gift card. The recipient can then choose the date of their choice.
How does the Playgreen gift card work?
Playgreen allows you to offer the activities available on the site through the purchase of a gift card, valid for one year. You can choose the design of the card according to the occasion of your purchase. It is also possible to send the card directly to the beneficiary’s email address, if you wish. On their gift card, the beneficiary will see a code allowing them to book the activities of their choice for the amount purchased. He or she will then enter their code on the reservation form of the chosen activity in order to participate for free.
Are the activities accessible to people with disabilities?
Some of our activities are partially or fully accessible to people with reduced mobility or a disability. We recommend that you contact us in advance so that we can guide you towards the activities best suited to your situation. We are evolving our offer to make it more inclusive each year.
Where does the 10% of its turnover that Playgreen gives to environmental protection and the fight against Sanfilippo disease go?
The 10% is donated to the endowment fund Playgreen for Environment (PFE). This non-profit organization was created in 2024, at the same time as Le Libre promeneur became Playgreen. Playgreen will make a first donation to PFE at the end of its first financial year which will end on 31/12/25.
We will share the 10% of the turnover donated in a 50% donation to the Cure San Filippo foundation, and for the other part to WWF, Traffic and local waste collection associations.
Can I support PFE and donate without booking an activity on Playgreen?
PFE also supports the fight against SanFilippo syndrome, an incurable child disease particularly violent, which can affect any family. You can choose to support this cause here.
Finally, we inform you that:
- Playgreen receives nothing from the donation you make to PFE, an independent non-profit organization managed by volunteers.
- The donation made to PFE is tax deductible (up to 66% of the amount of the donation for individuals; and €20,000 in annual donations or 0.5% of annual turnover excluding taxes if the donation is higher for companies).
- By making a donation, you will be redirected to the HelloAsso page of PFE. Your donation receipt will be sent to you by email.
